Family Holiday Events in Houston
If you’re looking for family holiday events in the Houston area, this blog post is for you! Two things that are always a must for my family during the holidays are taking family pictures and finding some fun, festive activities to do as a family! There are so many fun family holiday events this time of year.
My boys are teenagers now, but when they were younger, one of our favorite things to do around the holidays was going to Galveston. Moody Gardens has Holiday in the Gardens, which has lots of fun things for families… the Festival of Lights, Iceland and ice skating are some favorites!
One of my very favorite things to do during the holidays is going to see the Nutcracker. I grew up in a small town and I always dreamed of going to see the Nutcracker. When I moved to Houston, I was so excited to finally be able to go, and I’ve taken my boys a few times too.
Another fun event is the Houston Symphony’s Holly Jolly Holiday. There’s lots of kid-friendly music, free hot chocolate and lots of other activities.
Zoo Lights is another fun holiday event for all ages! My kids always loved going to the zoo, especially during the holidays!
