HOUSTON MATERNITY PHoTOGRAPHER
The connection you have with your baby begins before they are even born, and a maternity session is the perfect way to document that special connection. Years down the road, you will be so glad you have these memories documented, not only for you to remember this special time but also to show your child one day.

Planning your maternity session
Maternity sessions are offered at an outdoor location or at my studio in Katy. From wardrobe styling to hair and make up, I help clients plan every detail of their session. As soon as your book your session, I’ll get started putting together a personalized style board to give you inspiration for what to wear for your session. I have dresses available for moms to borrow in my client wardrobe, or if you want to wear something of your own, I have a Client Style Guide that will give you a lot of ideas. The Style guide includes my favorite places to shop, links to some of my favorite dresses and tip on what photographs well for expecting moms.
Frequently asked questions
Yes! Clients have the option of either booking a single session or a membership. If you plan to do two or more sessions during baby’s first year (including maternity) then it would make the most sense to book the membership. Contact me and I’ll be happy to send you all the details.
II. What should I wear for my session?
I recently wrote a blog post with tips about what to wear for a photo session. I provide wardrobe styling as a service for all of my clients. Once you schedule your session we’ll get started planning your session right away! I will send you a link to a personalized style board for your session and will even help you shop at some online stores for wardrobe pieces for your session. (My favorite place to shop for maternity dresses is Baltic Born).
III. Is hair and make up included with the session?
Hair and make up is not included, but I have a few hair and make up artists that I’ve worked with in the past the I refer my clients to.
IV. Do you sell the digital images?
While I realize the importance of digital files in this digital world that we live in today, I also think it’s important for my clients to walk away from their session with high quality, tangible heirloom products to preserve their portraits. In addition to selling digital files, I also offer heirloom albums, fine art prints and custom framed fine art prints.
