I’m finally sharing a few favorites from this newborn session in July. This beautiful family has a lovely home, full of white furniture and white walls (a photographer’s dream, ha!). Even though they had large windows in their living room, there wasn’t a ton of natural light. I’m always thankful to have my studio light to use in situations like this! I love the light and airy feel of their portraits, and you would probably never guess that I’m using a studio light unless I told you!
Your home doesn’t have to be perfectly decorated or have the perfect lighting to do an in home session. Minimal decor always photographs best so there’s not a lot of distracting things in the background. Light neutral colored walls work great too. Newborn sessions take place in my client’s home or in my natural light studio. All other sessions take place at my client’s home, outdoors or my studio. For in home sessions, I travel throughout the Houston area, including The Heights, Montrose, West University, River Oaks, Garden Oaks, Oak Forest, Katy, SugarLand, Richmond, Cypress, Spring and The Woodlands.
