Katy Maternity Photographer | The C Family Sunset Maternity Session

Oh how I love working with first time parents! You can sense the feelings of overwhelming excitement and anticipation that fill the air. Getting the opportunity to capture and document the sweet love that is shared by these two was a treat I’ll not soon forget.

As a Katy Maternity Photographer, I have worked with a ton of couples over the years. I always love having the opportunity to meet new couples and share in this special time with them.

After spending some time with this sweet couple and hearing them talk about the upcoming arrival of their little one, I couldn’t help but think back to that special time in my life.  The memories of love that I had for this little human I hadn’t even met yet, and the feeling of intense responsibility I immediately felt as soon as I held him in my arms for the first time, are still so clear to this day. That’s why maternity sessions are some of my favorite sessions to capture…fully understanding the love and sharing in the excitement with each of these glowing mamas.

I can’t wait to meet their little one! Having the opportunity to not only capture their maternity portraits, but also their little one’s newborn session is such a gift. I can’t wait to watch this family grow and welcome into their arms their oh-so-loved little one.
