I recently decided to make a big change from offering newborn sessions in my studio to offering them in my clients’ home.  I thought I would take a few minutes to share a little about these sessions with you…

It wasn’t long ago that I was a mom to a newborn baby.  I remember those first days of excitement and cherishing each minute with my sweet baby… but along with that comes exhaustion, lack of sleep and spending every waking hour taking care of this precious little one.  To be honest, I’m not sure if I could have packed up my little one and all of the important necessities to go to a newborn studio for 3+ hours during those first couple of weeks.

That’s why I’m so excited to be able to offer newborn sessions in the comfort of your own home.  I will bring everything to your session that would be available during a studio session… my posing bean bag, some posing blankets, wraps, hats/ headbands, props, etc.  I have a consultation with each of my clients before their session so that I will come prepared with everything we need for your session.  I even have some dresses for mom’s to wear so that you don’t have to worry about going shopping.

An in home newborn session has the best of both worlds.  We’ll take some posed pictures of the baby, but we’ll also include some lifestyle pictures that incorporates your home environment as well.  I just love being able to go into a client’s home and document this special time in their lives!
