Your session is over… so what now??? I will get started on your gallery right away. I go through all of your images to narrow them down to my favorites to edit and include in your gallery.

It takes around 2-3 weeks to edit the gallery. I’ll send the gallery link to you as soon as it’s ready. Once you receive your gallery link you’ll be able to place your order for the collection you selected, as well as any other products that you would like to order.

This is actually my favorite part of the session… I love helping my clients decide on the best way to display the photos from their session. I know as busy parents, you may not have the time or you may not know what to do with these pictures that contain some of your most precious memories. I truly love helping my clients figure out the best way to display their images in their home for years to come.

DIGITAL COLLECTIONS

The collections include the high resolution digital images, which may be printed at the lab of your choice. I know that digital images are so important in this digital age that we live in, but please don’t just let your images sit on your computer! I think it’s so important to display your images in your home… as your family grows and changes throughout the years you will love looking back at these special memories.

Where you print your images makes a big difference in the quality, and also the color and brightness of the images. If you print a photo at a consumer lab, the color will vary based on which lab you use. PLEASE do not print your pictures at Costco, CVS, Target etc and expect professional quality prints.

I have tested many different professional labs over the years and have partnered with a few of the best that have amazing quality. I think it’s so important to invest in professional products that have the best quality to display your images for years.

If you’re not sure which professional prints or products to invest in, I typically recommend ordering any prints that you want to hang on your wall (either matted or framed fine art) and also investing in a product that displays your favorite images from your session (either a keepsake box or an Heirloom Album).

Most popular products ordered for each type of session:

Maternity session: Most clients order a mini matted album or proof box with prints to display their favorite images from the session.

Newborn sessions: Most clients order a deluxe heirloom album to display their favorite images from the session. Other popular items: a framed print or canvas to display in the nursery; a linen keepsake box with print proofs (you can add other prints to it over the years)

Milestone sessions: An heirloom album or a linen keepsake box with printed proofs are both popular keepsakes for the first year milestone sessions. When clients are doing multiple sessions in one year, they typically build a gallery wall with framed pictures from each of their session. We can design the gallery wall together (see more information about this below) and then you purchase the individual framed pictures with each session.

HEIRLOOM ALBUMS

Heirloom albums are a great way to preserve the images from your session. Album covers come in linen, leather or velvet and can be customized with an embossed name and birthdate, initials, etc. The pages are thick and lay flat.

FINE ART PRINTS & FRAMED PRINTS

Fine art prints are printed on a beautiful, natural cotton paper. Custom framed fine art is also available, which are handframed with a 3″ mat. A custom wall art design is complimentary for clients that intend to purchase fine art prints. This is a great option if you have a wall where you would like to hang some prints and you’re not sure what size… I can design a custom wall art design using a picture of your wall to show you how different size prints will look on your wall.
