What to Wear for Santa Pictures
If you have Santa pictures coming up soon, and you’re trying to figure out what to wear for Santa pictures, keep reading for some helpful tips and suggestions!
There are so many styles of clothing you can choose for these pictures… from Christmas PJ’s to Christmas best attire and anything in between. One of the most important things to consider is the color of clothing you choose.
Color Scheme
When people think of Christmas and the holidays, the color that most comes to mind is red, but keep in mind that Santa is already going to be wearing red. If you want to incorporate red in the outfit, make sure it’s just a small accent color with a light colored background. For example, wearing a red bow in their hair, or wearing an outfits that has a white or off white background with red plaid (just so long as there’s not too much red in the print–it should be mostly white so that it contrasts with Santa’s outfit).
Light colored neutrals (off white, light beige, light gray, etc) will look great against Santa’s red outfit. If you want to incorporate small pops of color here are some recommended colors and colors to avoid:
Colors to avoid: orange, bright pink, purple, yellow, red, bright green
Colors to try: muted darker blue, brown, gold, dark gray, hunter green
