Top 5 Maternity Photo Shoot Ideas
When planning your maternity session, there are so many maternity photo shoot ideas… So many different styles and looks to choose from that can create beautiful, timeless images. Here are some of my favorite images from recent maternity sessions, all highlighting a different style that you might like for your session.
1. A Simple White Dress
You can’t go wrong with a simple, white dress to keep a timeless, classic feel. There are so many different styles to choose from. Our client wardrobe has several white dresses, ranging from long and flowy to a more fitted look that shows off your baby bump.
2. Outdoor Sunset Maternity Session
Outdoor sessions at sunset are another favorite for maternity sessions. Wear a flowy dress in a light neutral color to keep the look light and airy. You can choose from one of the many dresses we have in our client wardrobe.
3. Black is always a classic
While most of my pictures are light and airy, I love a classic black dress for a studio maternity session. We have this dress and couple of other black dresses available in our client wardrobe.
4. Bare Belly pictures
Show off your baby bump! One of our favorite looks is to wear your nonmaternity jeans unbuttoned with a sports bra, lace bralette or crop top.
5. Backlit Studio Images
I love backlit studio pictures for maternity sessions. Our natural light studio has beautiful natural light to create beautiful backlit pictures in front of the windows.
