I love doing sessions on location, whether it’s outdoors or at my client’s home, but I’ve missed having the option of a studio session. Studio sessions are great for newborns if you like the minimalist, light and airy look but your home doesn’t necessarily match up with that description. Studio sessions are also a great option for milestone and maternity sessions as well. The best thing about a studio session is that we aren’t dependent on the weather and the lighting is always consistent!
It’s been a couple of years since I’ve had a studio so I’m so excited to have a studio again. My main focus will still be on location sessions, but I love having this option as well. The studio has a wall of windows, white walls and lots of natural light.
This maternity session was originally scheduled for an outdoor session, but with all the rain we’ve had this week we decided to go ahead and move it to a studio session.
Brittany Avenue Photography is a Houston photography studio that specializes in newborn, maternity and family photography in the greater Houston area. The studio is located in Katy, TX but Brittany Avenue does sessions on location through the greater Houston area, including West University Place, River Oaks, Montrose, The Heights, Greater Oaks, Oak Forest, Memorial Area, Katy, Sugar Land, Cypress, Richmond, Fulshear, Pearland, Spring and The Woodlands.
Thanks for stopping by! I would love to tell you more about a photography session. My goal is to make the entire process enjoyable and stress free for our clients. During the planning process, we guide our clients through picking out their wardrobe and make sure that everyone’s outfits will coordinate perfectly for their session.
Newborn sessions take place at the client’s home or in my natural light studio. For in home sessions, we will come to you and bring everything needed for your session. We have wraps, blankets, headbands, etc. for baby to use during the session. Outdoor sessions take place at an outdoor location with beautiful lighting in the west Houston area. Outdoor sessions take place at sunset for optimal lighting.
While all of our collections include the digital images, each collection also includes beautiful products such as fine art prints or an heirloom album so that your memories can be preserved for many years.
